The study of music can be a transformative experience, illuminating who we are as human beings. While blending technical training with ear development, improvisation and collaboration, I seek to mirror my students’ potential and model a positive growth mindset.
Liza is a performer and educator with 15+years experience teaching ages 4 and up. Her pedagogy is informed by her experiences at Columbia College of Chicago, Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music and Berklee Global Jazz Institute Masters Program under the tutelage of pianist and educator Danilo Perez (Dizzy Gillespie, Wayne Shorter). She specializes in Jazz, Latin, Contemporary and Classical.
